Abstract:
This article analyses this survey data from the project, which explores the integration of democratic competencies and digital tools in foreign language education across Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Ukraine. Drawing on responses from 465 learners of English, Romanian, Bulgarian, Ukrainian and Greek, the study highlights learner motivations, digital engagement and attitudes towards European values and active citizenship. The results significant cross-national patterns and offer pedagogical and policy recommendations for integrating intercultural and democratic dimensions into the language teaching.
