Abstract:
We propose a cameo of Karl Ludwig Bühler in our research. Psychologist, university professor at the University of Vienna, theorist of his time,Ludwig Bühler elaborates a theory of language with the confessed intentof detaching from the field of psychology in his doctrine. Through the concept of Organon the researcher continues a known Platonic tradition. By supporting the dichotomy langue-parole of the linguistic sign, theorised by Ferdinand de Saussure, the concepts of energeia/ergon, formulated by Wilhelm Humboldt, Bühlet situates himself in the context of modern end of 19th - beginning of 20th century linguistics. This is the assertion we start from in our study. The Organon model of language, the semiotic character, speech acts, the symbolic system feature of language are only a few of the aspects we shall consider.
