Simona Olaru-Poșiar, Lecturer PhD, "Victor Babeș" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara, Lecturer PhD, "CCLASC" Centre of Applied Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies Abstract: The article will look at three different approaches of the human subconscious and will try to underline the resemblances between André Breton’s novel Nadja, Lewis Carroll’s renowed novel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There and Unica Zürn’s text Mann im Jasmin. Eindrücke aus einer Geisteskrankheit (Jasmin Man. Thoughts on a mental illness). We will try to define the depiction of the concept of dream in the three novels, underlyning the similarities and the important features that the three authors concentrate upon.
