Mihai Valentin Vladimirescu, Prof., PhD, University of Craiova Abstract: The Bible has a fascinating history. Over time, the Bible has been the epicenter of a very close collaboration and the source of many conflicts. Many of our ideas about the translations of the Bible are confused and ill-defined because we often lack a balanced understanding of the present and the past of interfaith cooperation related to biblical studies. Constantly oscillating between the two extreme poles of communion and division, biblical interfaith cooperation has known three main stages: peaceful unity, major differentiation, and difficult reconciliation.
